Hi, I’m Angela — Your East Tennessee Travel Blogger

Born and raised in Knoxville, TN, and a true East Tennessee gal at heart. I’ve been exploring this beautiful state my whole life — from girlhood, to adventuring with my own kids, to now exploring with my grands. Tennessee Trekkn is my travel blog, where I share local tips, trip ideas, and weekend getaways to help you plan the perfect trip. I’m a Tennessee travel blogger and Knoxville local who loves showing off this beautiful state.

My East Tennessee Roots

Tennessee is best when shared with the people you love. I’ve walked life’s road with my hubby for 32 years and counting, and together we’ve raised nine grown children. Our family has only grown sweeter since — Granna to six grandbabies, surrounded by a wonderful crew of in-loves. And I can’t tell my Tennessee story without Meme and Pop, my parents, who are still up for any adventure and often along for the ride.

More Than Just a Travel

For me, as a Tennessee travel blogger, it’s not just about traveling. It’s about the blessing of living life and enjoying God’s goodness and His creation. Every overlook, every trail, every small-town diner, every cabin weekend — it’s all part of a life I’m grateful for, and one I love sharing with you.

Tennessee Trekkn is a Tennessee travel blog for people who actually want to go — not just scroll. I share the places worth your time, the stops worth the detour, and the small-town finds worth driving for.

You’ll find guides to the Smokies, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Nashville, and the small towns in between — plus hiking trails, cozy cabins, whiskey and moonshine tastings, Southern food, state park lodges, scenic drives, and weekend getaway ideas.

I’m your road trip friend — the one who knows where to park, where to grab the best biscuit, and which overlook is worth the extra ten minutes. I share the spots our family loves, the ones still on our bucket list, and everything I learn along the way.

Pour your coffee, pull up a chair, and let’s plan something good.
