The campground sits right inside the cove (it’s simply beautiful), surrounded by Smoky Mountain views and close to popular trails and scenic drives. Plus, you’re just minutes from Townsend, so grabbing a meal or picking up extra supplies is quick and convenient.

You won’t need a pass when parking at your campsite, but if you plan to explore and park your car for more than 15 minutes anywhere inside the park, you’ll need one.

You’ll find Cades Cove Campground inside Great Smoky Mountains National Park, about nine miles from Townsend along Laurel Creek Road.
