A festive red, white, and blue Tennessee moonshine cocktail made with Sugarlands Sour Blue Raspberry Moonshine, lemonade, and grenadine. Perfect for Fourth of July barbecues, fireworks, and summer celebrations.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz Sugarlands Sour Blue Raspberry Moonshine Chilled
  • 4 oz Lemonade Fresh or store-bought
  • ½ oz Grenadine Pour slowly for layers
  • 1 cup Ice Fill the glass
  • 1 slice Lemon wheel Garnish
  • 6-8 Fresh blueberries Garnish
  • 2 tbsp Coarse white sanding sugar For the rim

Method
 

  1. Run a lemon wedge around half the rim of a highball glass. Dip the rim into coarse white sanding sugar until evenly coated.
  2. Fill a highball glass with ice.
  3. Pour in the Sugarlands Sour Blue Raspberry Moonshine.
  4. Add the lemonade and stir gently to combine.
  5. Slowly pour the grenadine down the inside of the glass or over the back of a spoon. Let it settle naturally to create the red, white, and blue layered effect.
  6. Garnish with a lemon wheel, fresh blueberries, and a mini American flag pick, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy responsibly.

Notes

  • Chill the glass before adding the white sugared rim.
  • Pour the grenadine slowly for the best layered effect.
  • Ole Smoky Sour Razzin' Berry makes a great substitute.
  • Hosting a crowd? Mix the moonshine and lemonade ahead, then add grenadine to each glass.
  • Garnish with a lemon wheel, blueberries, and a mini flag pick.
